Spain Promotes Cuban Tourism As a Summer Offer
Spain is promoting Cuban Tourism as part of its summer offer to the visitors. The Spanish travel agency Travelplan have presented features of tourism in Cuba to hundreds of industry professionals. The presentation to the country's most important tour operators and travel agencies was made at a downtown Madrid hotel.
Travelplan, part of the Globalia Group, is the leading Spanish tour operator both in number of destinations and passengers, and is the largest issuer of tourists to Cuba.
The Cuban Tourism officials are now thankful to Travelplan for its confidence in the island, a destination that is more than sun and beach. Apart from Madrid, the Cuban summer advertising campaign has been presented in the cities of Barcelona, Bilbao, Vigo, Malaga, and Valencia.
