Cuban cigar roller sets new world record

Cuba  is well known for its exotic cigars and takes credit to some of the best tobacco grown in the world. Now the record for the largest cigar in the world also goes to a  Cuban cigar roller who has rolled out a staggering cigar that measures at over 268 feet long. Castelar Cairo, the creator of this largest cigar started working on the massive cigar along with a team of helpers as part of an event put on by the Cuban tourism ministry. During the process he has also beaten its own world record for making the longest stogie.

It was in the year 2001that Castelar Cairo first entered the record books by making a cigar measuring 36 feet. He has bettered his efforts three  times  before this latest creation. Castelar Cairo who picked up the nifty tricks of   the cigar rolling trade at the tender age of  five, has  become a five-time Guinness World Record holder with this feat.
